Afroman's Irrational Idea (Jeep Commander Edition)

Hello everyone so today’s irrational idea came up when talking to someone in my apartment complex thinking about selling their Jeep Commander. I haven’t seen one and years, and never noticed it in the garage.

Does anyone remember these? Two of my friends had Hemi versions of these, and one was completely awful and the other is still going strong today with very little problems. Would it be too crazy to drop in a Cummins engine and Allison transmission into one of these. It seems like it has room.

It looks good lowered with SRT wheels.

It looks great with this back bumper.

So what says Oppo, about a slightly lowered Jeep Commander with a Cummins engine, Allison transmission, Jeep SRT8 wheels, and the rear bumper from the last picture? (Keep in mind it probably never would go offroad.)

IMO CP, but keep in mind I don’t understand the sporty SUV thing at all.

Mainly I want to lower, so it can park in the garage and not outside. So stock height or slightly lower.
